About the event

In this workshop, we will focus on survey techniques that involve looking for a set of indicator plants for acidic types of wetland. These species may be positive or negative indicators of the health of the wetland, and can be monitored over time to assess and inform management, as well as contributing useful records for conservation purposes. We will begin with an indoor session introducing the variety of wildflower species associated with this habitat type, before moving out to Breney Common to see what we can find and try some survey techniques.
