Open Gardens - Lethytep
About the event
Lethytep is a stunning 52-acre wildlife haven located in a sheltered valley. Designed to attract wildlife, this garden includes wildflower meadows and large ponds packed full of aquatic plants, birds, and insects. A meandering path leads along a grass meadow, down through the woods then out onto a wetland area full of wildflowers, orchids, dragonflies, and butterflies. Â

After several years of their very generous support of the Cornwall Wildlife Trust Open Gardens programme, this will be the final year in which this garden will be opening on behalf of the programme. We are extremely thankful to them for their support over the years and look forward to welcoming guests to this very special place on 2 June.

An exciting opportunity to become part of the team... Could you be our next Open Gardens Volunteer Co-ordinator?Â
Our Open Gardens programme is managed entirely by dedicated volunteers. Our talented coordinators help us in finding suitable gardens, communicating with garden owners, and overseeing the event days themselves - all contributing to create a Cornwall where nature can thrive.
We are looking for new volunteer coordinators to join this wonderful team. Find out more and apply below.Â
