Wildlife Watch

Where kids go wild for wildlife

Wildlife Watch, the junior section of Cornwall Wildlife Trust, inspires future generations to care for Cornwall's precious wildlife and wild places through our magazine Wildlife Watch and by providing fun educational activities.

Wildlife Watch has recently changed its name from Fox Club, founded in 1983, to follow in with Wildlife Watch nationally, and is Cornwall's leading wildlife club - where kids go wild for wildlife. You can see all the amazing wildlife at www.wildlifewatch.org.uk

Wildlife Watch offers children and their families the opportunity to enjoy and learn about nature through many different wildlife themed events, from Rockpool Rambles, to Minibeast Safaris or even making a bird box.

These are wonderful wildlife events to get involved in and are organised throughout the year for primary school age children and their families.
Have a look at our what's on pages to see what exciting Wildllife Watch events there are for you, your children or your grandchildren to enjoy. We would love to see you!

By coming along to an event you will be able to meet lots of new friends whilst exploring and learning about the wildlife around you. Think of all the fun you could have taking part in all sorts of activities, from Pond Dipping to Batty about Bats.

Wildlife Watch events are organised by Cornwall Wildlife Trust staff members and volunteer leaders who know all about local places and the wildlife that can be found there. Some of the great activities you can do with Wildlife Watch include:
• pond-dipping
• birdbox and bat box building
• rockpool rambles
• mini-beast safaris
• arts and crafts
• wildlife experiences
• geology walks
• investigate amphibians
• survival and shelter building, and much, much more!

If you are interested in nature, care about the environment and want to explore and be inspired by your local wildlife, then this is the club for YOU!
